The Digivu+ is a card reader for heavy vehicles, it can download the drivercard data and tacho files. In this article we'll explain A. when its use is applicable and B. how to upload these files to your FleetGO account.
A. Use cases
DigiVuPlus has 2 main functions, namely the mobile (manual) ,
• readout from Tachograph Mass Memory
• read Driver card
These 2 functions are applicable in 4 situations when automated download can not foresee:
- When renting a vehicle (specific manual tachograph download of rented period)
• When phasing out the vehicle (if automatic tachograph download has not taken place completely), and FleetGO box if is blocked.
• In the case of 'Disabled driver' and this driver has driven for hours/days after his last journey, his card must be read out manually for traffic jams on these last journeys.
• Same in case of temporary (hired) driver
