This article covers information about terminating your FleetGO account. Whenever a vehicle is no longer in use or you wish to deactivate your account, please read through this article to understand what it means to deactivate your account and the consequences.
Termination can't be undone
A termination, and with it the deactivation of devices at your request, can't be undone. You will be informed about this when you send in your request.
Difference between buy and lease
Buy: If you have purchased the device(s), we can deactivate them over the air. The hardware doesn't have to be removed physically.
Lease: If you have chosen the leasing model, please return the device(s) to*:

How to request a termination
You can cancel your account within the FleetGO platform. Only Administrators are able to request a termination. Please complete the following steps:
- Login at FleetGO
- Click on your name at the top right
- Go to My Account
- Click Request termination
- Select the request type Account
- Choose a termination date (must be at least one day in the future). Note: a one-month notice period applies. You may be invoiced for an additional month.
- Buy: select the option to block the hardware.
Lease: select the option to return the hardware.
In case of lease: if you are unable to return the device(s), FleetGO will charge a replacement fee as agreed in the contract. - Specify the reason for termination (optional)
- Click Save
- Click OK to confirm the termination
Your request for termination is sent to FleetGO. Our staff will follow up and approve the request.
You will receive a confirmation email after approval.
