This article will explain how to switch a driver in the FleetGO platform. For heavy vehicles with a tachograph there's no need to assign a fixed driver as there are being assigned by the use of the driver card.

Switch Driver

  1. Navigate to Management > Common and click on Administrations
  2. Click on the license plate
  3. Hit Switch driver
  4. Choose the right period
  5. Select the new driver in the drop-down
  6. Keep the checkbox checked if you also want to switch the regular driver
  7. Hit Save
For Heavy vehicles with a tachograph there's no need to add a driver

Using the Period dataset

Using the Period dataset for the first time can be confusing. We will explain this dataset following a few examples below.

Assign a specific period to another driver without changing the regular driver

If you want to assign a specific period to another driver but the regular driver doesn't change then uncheck the box Also switch regular driver of this administration.
