In this article, you will find the different functions of the map within you FleetGO platform and how to use these. When opening the map screen you will see 3 elements (left navigation, the map itself and the live data/trip history area)

- Open the settings to change filter settings and add sensor values to the left element
- Smart navigation. The administration list will only show the administrations which are visibele on the map.
- Collaps or extend menu
- Status of the administration
- Change the sort order and the value to sort on.

Live traffic information
FleetGO offers the possibility to view live traffic on the map. With this view, traffic jams are red marked on the roads. Green marked roads means minimum traffic. If you are interested in this option, please send us a request.
The map
Besides showing the administrations on the map, the map has its own features which can be activated via the action buttons in the right top:
Navigation When clicking on this button, you are able to select an address to navigate to. FleetGO will calculate which administration is closed by and calculates the travel-time and distance of all vehicles. | |
Grouping When clicking on this button, the grouping function will be activated. When having multiple vehicles in the same area, it will create a better overview. | |
Your location If your browser knows your location, after clicking this button the map will be centered on this location | |
Centering When an administration is selected, and you want the map to center on the vehicle, you can click this button | |
Follow all Click this button if you want the map to zoom out, so all administrations are visible in one view | |
Follow administration If you want to follow 1 administration on the map. Select an administration first and then click the follow button. The map will follow this administration during its trip. | |
Show locations If you have created locations in your account, these locations can be made visible on the map by clicking the show locations button | |
Label configurations By clicking the label configurations button, you can add information to the labels that are shown on the map per administration | |
Map configurations By clicking the map configurations button, you can will see some different options. The most important options are the map layer (Default or Satellite) and toggle on/off the traffic layer. | |
Live data
The Header It shows the licence plate of the administration and the current address. Via the 2 tabs, you can switch between the administration info and the Trip history | |
Details Here you will find the most important details of the vehicle. | |
Trip details The trip details will give you a summary of the most important information summarized over the current day | |
Driver The current driver of the vehicle. In the case of a vehicle with a tachograph, the driver is determined via the driver card. In light vehicles, we know who the driver is because it is fixed to the administration, or they use the RFID solution.

Driving time (only for heavy vehicles) We receive “real-time” information from the Tachograph. This information is shown in the driving time part of the map. It will show you the remaining driving time parameters for the last 2 weeks, current week and current day. | |
Sensors One of the most important parts of the map. This part will show all the data (non-gps) from a vehicle. The data which will be shown depends on the technical installation. |
Trip history
When selecting the Trips tab, you are able to select a period. It will now show you the trips in that specified timeframe.
When selecting a trip, it will be shown on the map:
Date range
Click in the right panel on Trips > date range, you can adjust the period for which you would like to see the trips. By default, you will see the trips of last days. The range maximum is one week.
When holding the shift button, you are able to select multiple trips:
