This article will cover all actions to follow whenever an employee resigns at your company. Depending on which configuration you have set up for you employees and which hardware you use the following sections are applicable.
Tip: If you want to generate a final report view the Reports section first
Fixed driver
If you make use of fixed drivers it's important to delete the employee as fixed driver from the administration. If applicable you can also assign the new driver right away.
- Navigate from Management to Administrations.
- Choose the right administration.
- In the View Vehicle page click on Edit.
- Delete the employee from the driver line
- If applicable look up the new employee in the driver line.
- Click Save.
Tags
If you make use of the FleetGO tags and you have assigned these to your employees it's important to set the tag of the resigned employee free again so you can assign this tag to another employee if applicable.
- Navigate to Management and click on Tags
- Look up the right tag and click on tha tag number
- Delete the current employee
- Click Save
Tip: Select the new employee after step 3 to reassign the tag
Reports
If you have set up scheduled reports for your employee you can stop these following the next steps.
Stop Scheduled reports
- Navigate to Reports.
- You will immediately see which reports have been scheduled and when they will be sent.
- If you no longer wish to receive a particular report, click on the three lines on the right of the report and choose Stop.
Generating a final report
You may want to generate a report for your employee covering the whole period of service. In order to make this report it's important that the employee is active. If you deactivated the employe already you can easily activate it again, please read the steps in the article Activate employee.
Block access to FleetGO
If your employees have been set up in FleetGO you can deactivate them to keep a clear overview. Next to that you can also block the user, if configured, to make sure the employee doesn't have acces to the platform anymore. Please find the steps below.
Block User
- Navigate to Management and click on Users
- Click on the three horizontal stripes next to the user
- Click Block in the drop-down
Deactivate employee
- Navigate to Management and click on Employees.
- Click on the three horizontal stripes on the right side of the employee.
- Click Deactivate
Tip: You can find an overview of the deactivated employees by changing the Status in the Employees overview
