Welcome to FleetGO — we’re delighted to have you onboard! This guide will help you
get started with the FleetGO platform, whether you’re logging in for the first time, downloading the mobile apps, or updating your personal settings. It also includes important information to review before your first login, ensuring a smooth and secure start.
Follow the steps below to activate your account, access the FleetGO Portal, and begin using the system efficiently.
Before You Log In – Important Information
Before signing in for the first time, take a moment to review the following key points about your account, access, and technical setup.
A. Account & Access
Account Activation
New users will receive an activation email from FleetGO. Click the link in this email to set your password and activate your account. Please note that the activation link is valid for 24 hours, so it’s best to complete this step as soon as possible.
Password Rules
For your security, passwords must meet FleetGO’s standard requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- Contains one uppercase letter
-
Includes one number
Tip: Consider using a short passphrase (for example, “BlueCarRiver7”) instead of a single word — it’s both stronger and easier to remember.
Depending on your company’s setup, two-factor authentication (2FA) may also be required when logging in.
Roles and Permissions
Every user in FleetGO has a defined role, which determines the level of access:
- Admin – Full access to all data, settings, and reports.
- Main user – Can view data and reports with limited editing rights.
- Driver – Can view only their personal trips and tachograph data. Your company administrator can adjust these permissions if needed.
B. Technical Requirements
Certain functionalities within FleetGO platform are not supported if you use the browser Interner Explorer. This relates to the fact that Microsoft is phasing out this browser. Microsoft recommends using the new Microsoft Edge as your default browser. Microsoft Edge supports backward compatibility for Internet Explorer 11. We recommend you to use Microsoft Edge or one of the following supported browsers:
Supported browsers:
Google Chrome: latest two versions.
Mozilla Firefox: latest two versions.
Microsoft Edge: latest two versions.
Apple Safari: latest two versions.
Tip: Our testing suggests that Google Chrome provides the best performance when running FleetGO.
We always recommend a certain browser configuration as well;
- JavaScript must be enabled
- Cookies must be enabled
Make sure your network or firewall allows access to FleetGo domains, including:
- portal.fleetgo.com
- api.fleetgo.com
If you plan to upload tachograph data manually, note that FleetGO uses the .DDD file format for both driver and vehicle downloads.
C. Apps and Mobile Use
FleetGO offers mobile apps to make tracking, inspections and compliance checks easy on the go. The apps require access to your device’s Location and, if applicable, Bluetooth to ensure accurate data collection.
All data syncs automatically once the device has an internet connection. You can also enable push notifications to receive alerts about important events.
- Support for iPhone: iOS 9.0 and higher
- Support for Android: Android 4.4 and higher
