Setting up FleetGO Download Terminal

Using this manual, you can configure the FleetGO Download Terminal in just a few minutes.

Connect the terminal to Wi-Fi or Ethernet

When you receive the Terminal, the Ethernet option is used as the standard connection. If you want to use a Wi-Fi connection or change the setting again, you must make the following changes:

If you tap your finger at the bottom left of the screen (yellow dot) you will see the following screen. You do not have to enter a PIN code, you can immediately click on continue.

Click on Network,                                    Then click on Ethernet or Wi-Fi (GPRS is not available by default)

To select your Wi-Fi network, click on the Wi-Fi sign at the top right of the main screen. You will now see the screen to select a Wi-Fi network. The password can then be entered, and the connection will be established.

Connect to FleetGO

Now that your Terminal is connected to the internet, it must be linked to your FleetGO account. This goes as follows:

1. Open the menu by clicking at the bottom left of the screen, then click Continue

Click on Upload,                                          The following screen is now visible.

Enter the following information here:

FTP Address:      ftp.fleetgo.com

Port:                      21

Directory:            dir

Root dir:              Check the box

Username:         See below
Password:           See below

How do I get my FTP username and password?

Log in to your FleetGO account (as Admin) and navigate to the menu Tachograph à General à FTP Tacho file upload logins. Click on New and then check Download Terminal and enter your own name. Now click Save. Then enter the desired password and click save again.

Your FTP details have now been created. You can see your username in the overview screen

Fill in the details on your download terminal and click Apply. You can now test the connection by clicking the Test connection button. This test must be performed successfully.

Your terminal is now set up and ready to use.
